Blues Trust Productions presents the West Side Chicago Reunion, featuring West Side guitarists, 2005 Blues Trust Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Luther Guitar Junior Johnson and special guest, 2000 Blues Trust Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Eddy "The Chief" Clearwater. This one night only engagement takes place on Thursday, September 22 at 8 PM at Arlington's Regent Theatre.

In the tradition of their West Side Chicago contemporaries, Freddy King and Magic Sam, you're invited to spend a night of incendiary Blues and Soul from two of the greatest living proponents of the genre. Both players migrated to Chicago from Mississippi in the 50s, during the Golden Era of Chicago Blues. Luther Johnson is a veteran of The Muddy Waters Band. Johnson, who now lives in New Hampshire, has solo recording on Bullseye and the Telarc labels. Clearwater played bass on Jimmie Lee Robinson's Bandera recording, All My Life. He also had his own recordings on Federal and on Atomic H records, owned by his uncle, The Reverend Houston H. Harrington. Clearwater has also recorded for Rooster Blues Records and Bullseye.

This show is presented in conjunction with Boston Blues Week; a celebration of the Blues in Boston, highlighted by the free Boston Blues Festival at the Hatch Band Shell on Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25.
