On Thursday, May 17 at 7:30pm, Arlington's Regent Theatre and Right Turn, Inc. will present the Boston premiere of Debra Granik's award-winning feature-length film, DOWN TO THE BONE --a vivid portrayal of drug addiction and the road to recovery.  A "Critic's Pick" in the New York Times which called it, "...the kind of movie most independent films strive in vain to be: a small, beautifully faceted gem...," the film was honored by the 2004 Sundance Film Festival with two high profile, prestigious and extremely competitive awards: Best Director and a Special Jury Prize for acting. A stellar entry in the Dramatic Competition, writer/director Debra Granik, in her feature film debut, and actress Vera Farmiga became the talk of the Festival and the indie film community. *Partial proceeds from the May 17 screening will benefit Arlington-based Right Turn, Inc.--a non-profit organization founded in March of 2003 by Addictions Specialist Woody Giessmann with a vision of providing innovative programming, individual support, rehabilitation services and ongoing encouragement to New England artists and entertainers (and their families) who've been affected by alcoholism, addiction, and psychiatric issues.  www.right-turn.org
